Instructions for an unknown shape
Magazine piece for Ecrans
Paris, Januar 2007
My proposition for the french magazine Ecrans is an enigma, a crease pattern of an unknown shape of Origami. The player downloads a PDF document to be printed at home and has to fold the paper to know what it represents. The black and red lines in the document indicate the mountain and valley folds. The blue dots are 200 hyperlinks to clues on the Web, a whole cluster of references related to the project.
15th of january : The crease-pattern is published in the Website magazine of Ecrans. An announce is sent to various mailing-lists of origamists. An email is created for the players to send their origami photos to the magazine.
The 5th of February 2007: A photo of the result is published in the Ecrans website with an animation.
