Solar sails in Lisboa
Geocaching origami, Etienne Cliquet, april 2006
Photographs of origamis and Lisboa was made possible with the help of Sonia Marques.
PDF crease patterns are designed under Oripa software with the help of the mentionned scientific documents.
During a stay in Lisbon, i have hidden five bottles of portuguese wine (vinho verde) containing each one an origami in five secret places. Four of them are different prototypes of solar sails or solar panels used for space exploration (Planetory society, U3P, NASA, Jaxa and more organizations). The fifth one is another deployable structure of my own derived from the kite base origami. The GPS coordinates of each cache are collected for possible further explorations.
