Solo show "Crease-pattern International", Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris,
Glassbox "sans les murs"

With the help of Julien Gachadoat (programmer), i've developped a program for mobile phone. It detects surrounding electronic devices with Bluetooth protocol and automatically sends a series of poems. These poems have been written especially by the artist Sonia Marques (in french only).
During the exhibition, Ola, a trainee who lives in the Cité Internationale Universitaire, is launching the program with her mobile phone when she travels. Sonia poems are delivered to nearby people like flowers during carnival... A poster is also displayed in the main hall at the Cité Internationale which explains the performance with a huge folder.
From my point of view, the simplest folding that exists is probably a folder because only one fold is necessary. With one fold, a sheet of paper become a folder to tidy other documents. In everyday life, to folding something is needed to tidying things or to sending them to somebody/somewhere.
The folder icon is appearing also in our computer interface to designate a part of memory. Data storage seems to me like a process of folding and unfolding.
